Our Object this week is from a recently donated collection of bottles. It contained 'fancy' green writing ink, especially useful, says the bottle, for accountants and auditors. It takes us back to a pre-computer age, when everyone wrote by hand with pen and ink.

Our Objects of the Week, recently donated, are long-service awards from Monsanto. They were awarded to people who had clocked up 25, 30 or 35 years’ Service.

Our Object this week is a model vehicle from a substantial collection recently given to us. We hope to have a special display of them before long.

Our Object this week is a tin of Edwards' Desiccated Soup, taken from our new Special Exhibition, 'Women should be in the kitchen'. It was powdered and, as the tin says, was suitable in its Brown variety for gravies, hashes and stews as well as soups.
Special Exhibition
Our new Special Exhibition is called 'Women Should Be In The Kitchen', and has been put together by Laura Davies. It displays familiar items from the kitchens of yesteryear, as well as recipe books from the same period. The Exhibition will run until the end of November.

Our Object of the Week is the new photography exhibition that we've set up in our Music and Art Room. We've gathered together assorted cameras, projectors and assorted photographic apparatus that have been donated since we've been open. Do come in and see it!
