Our Object of the Week is outside the Museum! This week, an iron arch from the original Plaskynaston Foundry – the source of iron for the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct – was placed in the grounds at the back of the George Edwards Hall in Cefn Mawr. It was originally displayed on the Monsanto site, and is a direct link with all that work done 200 years ago, which is now recognised as a World Heritage Site. Come and have a look!
